King Israel Okwu Kanu and Lolo Ugoeze Kanu the parents of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu laid to rest

The parents of the Nnamdi Kanu great leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra and Director of Radio Biafra King Israel Okwu Kanu and Lolo Ugoeze Sally Kanu who are the paramount rulers of Afara-Ukwu Ibeku, Umuahia the capital city of Abia Province Biafra Land were laid to rest today at the Ukwu-Egwu Palace Umuahia.

Amongst the mammoth crowd of mourners are their children, notably,--- Kanu Nta Kanu, Fineboy Kanu, also political leaders, like the pro-Biafra Senator representing Abia North, Senator Ezennaya Aberibe; the former two times governor of Anambra Province, Mr.Peter Obi; the Anambra State-born ex-Senator Victor Umeh; Kings from Biafra Land (see video); The IPOB Families from all around Biafra land; members of Igwe-in-council Afara-Ukwu; the indigenes of Afara Ukwu Community---and people from all walks of life.

The Monarch and his wife died following the trauma that followed the unprovoked invasion and brutal attack on their Palace by the Nigeria Army code-named Operation Python Dance where 27 armless Biafran youths where brutally murdered in cold blood on the orders of Major General Mohammad Buhari the tyrant ruler of Nigeria. The mission of the Nigeria Army was to assassinate Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra in an attempt to put a stop to the agitation of the Biafra Restoration as championed by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the IPOB.

The Monarch and his Queen could not stomach the brutal killing of children in and outside their Palace as they consequently took ill and never recovered from the trauma. The King and his queen were known as a very peaceful, kind and loving couple during their lifetime, no wonder they were buried on a Valentine Day.
